Riccardo Bianchi, known throughout Europe for his art created using the 'Old Master Techniques', studied art in Florence and went on to teach painting and art restoration at universities in both Europe and the US. This painting is a reproduction of a work done in the late 1800's by German artist Emilie Preyer.
